You know, as much as I love all the LSX powered 240SXs and twin-turbo Firebirds I see on a daily basis, I’m so glad for the oddballs. Like this one. The DeTomaso Pantera is one of those super cars that will go down in history for all the wrong reasons. They looked really cool and were fast (eventually), but they’re probably best known in the US for being colossal piles of junk. There’s a story that Elvis got so frustrated with his that he shot it when it wouldn’t start.
