As we inch closer and closer to this year’s New York Auto Show, more and more teasers and spy shots of upcoming cars are beginning to leak.

And one of the most highly anticipated cars that’s set to debut at this year’s show has just had a massive cameo in its older brothers newest video. I speak of course of the new 2016 Camaro.

Chevy just recently celebrated a milestone victory with the current generation Camaro. Between the car’s first production vehicle all the way back in 2009 to today, Chevy has sold over 500,000 Camaros. Which was a massive boon for what was always called the “other” pony car.

However, for the new video celebration, Chevy brought out its race ready Z/28 hellion to play around at Willow Springs Raceway in a video that’s awesome to watch. Just stay till the end.

Yes, that is the next generation Camaro in almost all its glory. Now, as you can see, the new Camaro is definitely smaller than the last generation due to it being built on the ATS alpha platform. But as you can hear, it retains its heart stopping V8 which will make it absolutely an animal to drive.

According to Chevy, the first few pre-production 6th Generation Camaros were built this week and will make its first public outing at the Indianapolis 500 as the pace car. But first, the curtain should drop in New York, so stay tuned everyone.
