Nicholas Cage Cadillac CTS-V Wagon

The cult famous movie star ordered this rare Cadillac CTS-V new, and now, it’s up for grabs for an undisclosed price.

Nicholas Cage is one of those rare people that rose to fame not necessarily for his acting prowess or appearances in multiple smash hit films – which would be enough to make him famous in the first place – but rather, some of the memorable characters he played in movies like Con Air and National Treasure – characters that basically became memes. These days, there are plenty of Nicholas Cage fans out there for that very reason, so it doesn’t necessarily surprise us that he owned this incredibly cool Cadillac CTS-V wagon, either.

Cage actually ordered this Cadillac CTS-V wagon brand new, and was one of just 1,767 folks to do so between 2011-2014 – though only 514, including Cage, opted for the manual transmission. Throw in some Black Diamond Tricoat paint, Satin Graphite wheels, yellow brake calipers, Recaro performance seats, and the Ultraview Sunroof, and you’ve got a supremely desirable ride, even without its celebrity ownership status.

Now, according to Road & Track, this stellar Cadillac CTS-V is up for sale via Chris Cochran of Auto Street USA, though he isn’t talking cost – rather, Cochran has slapped this special wagon with the old “call for price” moniker, which probably means that he wants a lot for it. These cars have been trading for anywhere from $65k-$80k or more as of late, but don’t exactly come up for sale terribly often, which isn’t surprising given their rarity and cool factor.

Regardless, luxurious wagons with supercharged V8s and manual transmissions don’t exactly grow on trees these days, meaning that we only see the values of these CTS-V family haulers growing in the coming years. Couple that with the shine that comes along with being originally ordered and owned by cult famous actor who has appeared in over 100 movies over the years, and, well, we suppose that this example may very well help set a new water mark for the rare wagon.
