Pappas/Marinis Motorsports Pro Mod Corvette C7 is Blisteringly Fast
We’ve already seen C7 Corvettes with enormous amounts of power. People are putting crazy turbo and supercharger setups across the board and putting boat loads of power into these cars. For example, the packages coming from Hennessey, among a whole host of other aftermarket tuners. These companies routinely develop over 900 horsepower from the LT1 V8 engines that inhabit the engine bay of the new Corvette. However, Pappas/Marinis Motorsport felt that these tuners weren’t doing enough, so the lit the wick on their own C7 Corvette and turned it into a 4,000 horsepower drag monster.
The team’s Pro Mod C7 Corvette essentially throws away everything a normal Corvette would have, and only retains the Corvette’s general appearance. As you can see from the video below, it doesn’t so much as look like a normal C7 Corvette as it does a bullet aimed squarely at its competitor’s chests. In other words, mean as all getup.
Currently, this beast is still undergoing its shakedown process to get the car ready to absolutely decimate all that oppose its power. But as you can see, even before it’s completely tuned and ready, this car launches out of the gate like you were flipping on a light switch. It’s properly fast. Although, we’re not so sure you can still call it a Corvette? What do you guys all think?
