Dyno runs aren’t just the domain of cars. As it turns out, also makes a great engine for sand rails. In a lot of ways, this is probably better. The “engine bay” is just a tangle of tubes and the body work is just panels. No need to worry about packaging here.

That also means you can boost the crap out if with wanton disregard to road manners. Video like this make me glad these kind of cars exist. The amount of power they’re able to wring out of this thing is surreal. It’s making over 1200 horses at the wheels. Of course, this makes sense considering what CBM will be doing with the thing. Sand is a little bit harder drive on than asphalt.
