LSX’d Eclipse Finally Gets Time to Shine on Drag Strip

This is the best thing that’s ever happened to a Mitsubishi.

That’s actually coming as a fan of this generation of Eclipse. It has it’s wealth of problems though. The 2-liter 4G63 was capable of making a butt-load of power, but was notorious for crank walk. When they weren’t broken, the AWD GSXs could be really damn quick. Or, you could do what these guys did and swap in an LS.

Boom. Instant reliability. It also makes doing things like running 10 second quarter miles much easier. Oh right and it has nitrous. Of course. Watch this JD’Merican dragster in action below.
