Project Bad Penny, 1968 Camaro Makes 581 HP With A 461CI RHS Motor: Video Inside

By -

Steve Rupp of Camaro Performers Magazine has undoubetly built one of the most wicked LS-swapped First Gen. Camaros to ever roll the planet thanks to top-shelf parts throughout, including the 461 cubic inch LS under the hood. Although there are plenty of videos with Rupp wheeling the 68 Camaro at Autocross, open track and land-speed events, we’d never come across a dyno video… until now.

The beast of a motor made 581 HP and 552 LB-FT at the wheels on Westech’s SuperFlow dyno breathing through a 90MM throttle-body on a FAST 102 intake manifold with roughly 27-degrees of timing. While Rupp admits there’s plenty more left in it, do you really need more than 581 HP at the wheels?

Here’s a link to more info on the car curtsey of Super Chevy.
