Rezvani transforms the iconic Cadillac Escalade into a bulletproof safehouse on wheels with 700 supercharged horses roaring away.

The concept of taking ordinary vehicles and making them capable of withstanding gunfire is not new. For decades, aftermarket coach builders (and even some OEM manufacturers; see the E38 BMW 7-Series Security Protection package) have outfitted vehicles with insanely thick bulletproof glass, steel-reinforced doors, and more to provide superb security and safety for high-profile individuals. Rezvani is one of those manufacturers. Known largely for their 1,000 horsepower Challenger-SRT-Demon-powered “Tank” model, Rezvani has ventured into the world of small-block Chevrolet power with this highly modified Cadillac Escalade.

Carscoops brought this crazy monstrosity to our attention. Rezvani calls it the “Arsenal,” and it’s certainly a spectacle. It’s worth noting that the extreme bulletproofing and ultimate security equipment only come with models equipped with the optional Military Edition Package. Without it, if we’re honest, it seems that the Arsenal is mostly just an Escalade with some hardcore cosplay on the outside. That said, let’s take a look at the crazy features that come with the Military Edition Package.

Bulletproof Glass is Just the Beginning

The Rezvani Arsenal equipped with the Military Edition Package adds bulletproof glass and body armor. Buyers can opt for B6 composite body armor, which is lighter than steel and provides protection against heavy arms, including AR15s and AK47s. It also features reinforced suspension, electromagnet pulse protection (yes, seriously), and run-flat tires. If you think that seems like more than enough to make it through whatever apocalypse you may be facing, we’re only getting started.

The Arsenal features deterrent systems like a smoke screen, pepper spray dispenser, and electrified door handles. Yes, seriously. Door handles that will shock you if you touch them. These are some James Bond-level features. In addition, the Arsenal with the Military Edition package comes with a thermal night vision system and an intercom. Finally, a set of “blinding lights” to incapacitate would-be attackers will also help keep you safe. That sure is a lot of stuff. While the price tag of $225,000 may initially sound pretty nuts, you’re potentially getting a lot for your money. It is worth remembering that the Rezvani website says “starting at $225,000,” so there’s a good chance you get none of that Military Edition equipment at that price point.

Available in Gas or Diesel

Perhaps the coolest part in our minds is the availability of engine options. The Arsenal can be equipped with the 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six Duramax engine, just like the standard Escalade. This is Ls1Tech, though. So, we’re obligated to favor the 6.2-liter V8 powerplant that shares its heritage with the LS platform. Of course, if we’re taking the 6.2, we’re going to opt for the optional 700-horsepower supercharged package.

Overall, the Rezvani Arsenal is a pretty wild piece of machinery. The company only plans to make 100 examples. So, if you’re a millionaire doomsday prepper, you’d best get your refundable $500 deposit in sooner rather than later.
