RIDE ON! LS-Swapped 1989 Ford Fox Body Mustang
We love the LS motor. It doesn’t really matter if it’s an LS1, LS2, or so on. We just love the motor. A big burly V8 that has a large amount of horsepower and significant pull is pretty hard not to love, after all. We love every ride that sports one, too. That often means the Chevrolet Camaro, but not always. In fact, sometimes that might mean that we love a Nissan 350z or a Mazda Miata. Or, on the rare occasion, a Ford Mustang.
Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of LS1Tech member Johnny C. and taking a closer look at his wonderful LS-swapped ride that lies within!
Johnny C. is currently working on the best LS-swap of them all — he’s working on dropping one of these superb motors into a 1989 Fox Body Mustang! He bought the ride with some work already done, but it still has a ways to go! The ride was originally one of just 80 that were made specifically for Colorado, and, to make it even more unique, it previously served as an FBI car. And now it’s about to have an LS1 from a 2004 Pontiac GTO thrown under the hood! Go check out his build!
Go check out Johnny C.’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on RIDE ON!
