When it comes down to it, the Camaro is just an amazing car. Every generation was great in its own way, as we’re sure the new version will also be.

Still, there are certain memorable years and periods in which the Camaro was better than the rest. Of course, this consists of the first generation, with its classic muscular look.

But beyond just that, the IROC-Z and fourth generation Camaros have also become well-loved vehicles in the history of this beautiful Chevrolet muscle car.

LS1Tech member Camaro9969 has a very fitting username, since he is, after all, a proud Camaro owner. Today we’ll take a closer look at his garage and see the ride that lies within!

Camaro9969 drives a 1999 Camaro SS with a 6-speed transmission. And with over 800 horsepower, this car is by no means slow.

In fact, it is this very ride that has earned Camaro9969 a spot in the 8 Second Club, with a quarter mile time of 8.88 second at 152.95 miles per hours.

So far he has added an LS6 intake, NGK TR55 V-Power sparkplugs, MSD wires, Hooker Ceramic LT headers, a Hooker Offroad Y pipe, a Borla adjustable cat-back exhaust, an SLP lid, smooth bellows, a ported throttle body, a coolant bypass, a BMR Panhard bar, an Eibach pro kit, Bilstein’s BMR lower control arms, and more!

In the future the ride will be equipped with a custom front mount turbo or procharger with — you guessed it — nitrous!

Camaro9969 has done an excellent job with his ride. Not only is it fast, but it looks great and is well cared for. In addition to his ‘99 Camaro SS, he also has a 1969 Camaro.

Go check out his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
