RIDE ON! A 2006 GTO in the Garage

LS1 RO 1

It seems like a rarity that we actually feature a GTO. This is not because of a hatred of the cars or of any type of conspiracy against them, but rather because they are simply not the most popular GM car around.

We tend to see more of the Camaro and Trans Am, and less of the often-overlooked GTO. Even so, that doesn’t mean that these cars deserve to be ignored or taken for granted. After all, they are still fast machines that hold a place in the history of muscle cars as a whole.

So today we’ll be stepping into CAMSTER’s garage and taking a closer look at his 2006 Pontiac GTO!

LS1 RO 2

This ride is definitely far from stock, and it seems pretty obvious. With a 440 cubic inch LS7 under the hood, Hotchkis sway bars, Koni shocks, Pedders springs, and more, this beast is a match for anyone.

In fact, the ride puts out 643 rear wheel horsepower and has a racing weight of 3600 pounds. Clearly this GTO is one insane beast, and would definitely be an interesting sight to see on the road!

CAMSTER works as a limousine driver when he isn’t wrenching on his ride, and he enjoys remote control cars, boating, and engine building. His ride is clearly fast and deserved to be appreciated, especially since this generation of the GTO is a rare ride for someone to work with a build up nowadays.

Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
