Check Out the Ring Brothers’ LS7 Powered Mustang
The Ring Brothers are some of my absolute heroes. They build some of the wildest custom hot-rods out there. But more than that, their attention to detail is second to none. They are masters at detail work, Da Vinci’s of the hot-rod community. Recently, the Ring’s debuted their latest absurd creation, Espionage. Built for a Russian stuntman, the car began its life as a 1965 Ford Mustang. It then scrapped all that made it a Mustang except for the look. The body and chassis is now fully carbon, giving Espionage a dry weight of around 2,400 lbs.
However, what truly takes it away from the Mustang realm is the 7.0-liter supercharged LS7 V8 from Chevy. The result is 959 horsepower and 858 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 in absolutely nothing flat. I’ve been lucky to ride in the Ring’s Recoil and honestly, it was terrifying and it weighed quite a bit more than this “Mustang.”
