Attention General Motors, if you’re reading this, please, PLEASE make this truck! OK, so we don’t need all the carbon fiber or the entire 200-pound weight savings, but shave 100-pounds, keep the Camaro Z/28 carbon ceramic brakes, 19-inch wheels, flat-bottom steering wheel and of course the 420hp and 460 lb-ft 6.2-liter V8 and regular cab option! Ford has the Tremor, Dodge has the R/T so naturally we need a GM muscle truck in our corner. Of course a factory fighter with an LS9 or forced induction would be ideal, but hey, this truck appears to be totally attainable even for the corporate bean-counters and would offer us Gearheads a great platform to build upon!
I for one am a huge fan of regular cab muscle trucks, as my daily driver is a 2003 RCSB Silverado with a Magnacharged 5.3 and bolt-ons, but a factory GM alternative would be awesome. OK, so a four-door version would likely sell as well, but don’t forget the RCSB version because a factory-stock 13-second truck is just plain bada$$!
