Sub-2K Mile 2020 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Takes Final Forklift Ride After Wreck

Wrecked Chevy Camaro ZL1

This poor, virtually new Chevy Camaro ZL1 met its maker too soon, but now its desirable parts are up for grabs.

It’s a sad reality that cool cars get wrecked all the time, particularly those that have a lot of power. Generally, this happens because inexperienced drivers exceed their own personal limits, losing control at the wheel of a high-power, low traction vehicle, leading to a costly, hard lesson. We aren’t sure what, exactly, caused this nearly brand new 2020 Chevy Camaro ZL1 to bite the proverbial dust, but it’s already been parted out, and those various bits and pieces are currently up for sale at AZ Cycle Parts’ eBay store.

Before it got parted out, this Chevy Camaro ZL1 is seen in this video being taken for its final forklift ride, a sad development for an awesome car with just 1,970 miles on the clock. The video shows the muscle car being lifted off a car carrier onto the ground, where we can see substantial front end damage that caused by what appears to be a significant collision. It’s likely the Camaro smashed into another vehicle at high speed, or perhaps an obstacle of some kind.

Regardless, it’s clearly a goner, as the looks to have suffered some damage after the car’s unfortunate incident. Of course, that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of awesome goodies that are now available as a result of the owner turning his Camaro ZL1 into nothing more than a rolling parts farm. AZ currently has a ton of stuff for sale that was picked from this particular car, including its wheels and supercharged LT4 powerplant, which cranks out 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

That latter part has a pretty lofty price tag of $23,995, but it’s also a pretty awesome powerplant that would make for one heck of a nice restomod or hot rod build. Thus, it seems likely that even though it gave its life for what is likely some silly mistake, this poor old Camaro ZL1 will live on in more than one vehicle in the near future.
