This week’s Drag Race video has an LS1 Pontiac Trans Am racing against an LS1 Camaro in what appears to be some sort of “Pinks style” street drags, with the Firebird getting a head start of about a car length and a half over the Camaro.
This week’s Burnout video features what looks to be a very clean 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am participating in a burnout competition at the Lucas Oil Street Machine & Muscle Car Nationals.
We’ve been following this 4th Gen. Firebird since it was a heads and cam, T56 car back in 2011 and it has gotten progressively faster as the owner made the swap to a TH400 and further honed the combo.

This week’s Drag Race video features a 4th generation Pontiac Firebird packing an LS1 V8 racing against a late model Dodge Ram 2500. While you would think right away that an LS1 Firebird would thrash a heavy duty Dodge truck, this diesel powered Ram pickup definitely appears to have a little work done.
