Fuggedaboutit! Tony Soprano’s Escalade Sells for Big Bucks
For many, movie and TV show cars are the pinnacle of their collections. Whether those be cars from the Fast and the Furious franchise, the Mustang from Bullitt, or the iconic Batmobile, star cars can fetch quite a bit of money, and connect audience members with famous celebrities. This Cadillac however, is more infamous than famous.
This 2003 Cadillac Escalade was used in HBO’s The Sopranos, and was driven around by Tony Soprano himself, James Gandolfini. The Cadillac Escalade comes with a tone of documentation, and inside, there’s even Gandolfini’s signature on the driver’s side headrest and the sun visor. Recently, the Cadillac sold for $119,780 and has over 100,000 miles on the odometer.
In addition to Gandolfini’s signatures, it also came with an official movie prop license and a framed photo signed by five people from the cast. So what do you think? Would you have paid over $100,000 for a used Escalade from The Sopranos?
