Did Someone Say Part Out? Trans Am Firebird Formula Up for Grabs

Limited edition NHRA model Firebird Formula has awesome mix of WS6 and Corvette parts on it, all for sale in the LS1tech forums.

Spring is right around the corner, but the continual rainfall, or snow depending on where you are, makes it hard to not occasionally sweep the forums or Craigslist. It’s part out season, after all. Fortunately, for you, us and everyone else, we may have found the perfect part out here in the LS1tech Marketplace.

Parting 2002 Firebird Formula/Trans Am. Actually this is the limited edition NHRA Formula model with some Trans Am parts on it.

Selling everything except motor/trans/wiring/computer.

This was a running/driving car that owner just had no time to play with any more.

Interesting parts:

Long Tube headers
Adjustable rear trailing arms
Trans Am WS6 fiberglass hood with Ram Air
Corvette 14 1/2″ rotors and calipers up front
Corvette 18″ C5 wheels/tires all around

First things first, we aren’t exactly sure way it’s being parted out. After all, it’s pretty complete, even the full interior is present, and in good shape. Sure, there is side body damage, but it clearly runs and drives, or should we say, ran and drove, because the seller has pulled the motor, transmission and related parts. We’re guessing this is the sacrificial donor for another epic LS swap happening in the forums.
