World’s First LSX-Powered Lexus LS: It’s Nasty
The LSX is one of the most powerful crate engines Chevy Performance makes. It’s a 454 with tons of torque and power, which all makes for an amazing platform for racecars, and some of the craziest street cars.
However, where you don’t usually see this crate motor is in the engine bay of a Lexus LS430. You’ll sometimes see the odd LS3 or LS7 in the engine bay of a drift car, but an LSX is unheard of. Actually, this is the first LSX LS430 we’ve ever heard of, and we really want to drive it.
That combination of the lightweight, toss able chassis of the LS430, and the sheer unadulterated power of the LSX is probably the raddest application we’ve seen for an LSX since the Willys Jeep.
What do you guys think, should they have just gone with a 2JZ, or is this the right direction that these swaps should go?
