10 second lt1 chevelle took my 72 chevelle to steele, al today. it has a completely stock 95 lt1 (152k miles) bottom end (including cam). heads have been mildly ported with stock 1.94x1.50 valves, 1.6 roller tip rockers, headers and a mezeire w/p. th 350 trans. with a 10" conv. and the original 3.08 gears. and full interior. car has an nos drykit. went a 10.80 @ 125.71. 60ft. was 1.56 an 8th mile was 6.88@100.77. weight is about 3480 lbs.
You car looked real good going down the track on Saturday! I wished I would have come over an introduced myself! I was not for sure if that was you or not!
Anyway very good numbers! In case you wanted to know the DA was at +1840 all day according to our monitor! We were pitted about three cars down from you towards the starting line.

saw your car over their. i didnt get to watch other cars as much as i wanted too. i did see a couple passes. it leaves hard! the d/a was alot better last weekend, from what i had heard. but, it was too cold for me to come down. i'm pleased with my times considering the combo. it did have slight detonation on a couple passes right before it went through the lights, which dropped 2 mph from its other pass. i think it will go 10.70-10.75 without the detonation and cooler weather. i dont expect any more without some mods.

not sure. it did it alot better on the last pass, which was the best of the day. if i'd leave on everything it should do a little more. doesnt sixty ft. real good (1.56 best), even though its hooking. due to the 3.08 gears, i'm guessing. i have the n2o split into two stages. watching the video, you can here when i get on the 2nd. if i trailer the car down next time, i might leave on everything. its still got the original 8.2 10 bolt and it was 110 miles one way.
