Thinking of getting some for my 9in but afraid I will run out of gear if I ever can make it in the 10's. I'm full bolt on with a cam, fixing to add a 125 shot. Last track trip had a 1.67 60' and an 11.90 w/out spray and 3.89 gears on a 26" tire, any suggestions of what Mph anyone is running in fourth with 4.56 gears would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i love my 4.56's but if your sprayin i say go with 4.10's on a 28in tire ...
my setup was a M6, 4.56 , 28 in tire going through at the top of 4th (7100) and ave of 129 and some change mph new setup is going to be a Th400 with my 4.56's and a 29 in tire 5000 stall 9 in converter

430s shud work on 28 tire depends on your rev limiter where its set

I would keep the 3.89s if you're spraying...if anything go 4:11 but nitrous likes taller gears.

I am similiar to Nd4spd.

I have 4.56's, and going through the traps in forth it is really revvin! Around 7100rpms.
It works for me since my cam likes rpms. I am running a 28" slick also. My best Mph is a little over 127.

Get 4.10s if you plan on spraying much. Nitrous doesnt care if its geared a little short.

Im tapped out as far as gear goes 127 with 4.56s and 28 inch drag radials, no tire growth to help.

I have 4.33 with a 28" tire and spray.
26" tire 4.10 with spray-max gear for that tire
28" tire 4.33 with spray-max gear for that tire

i was running a 26" tire spraying with 4.10s and m6 i was on the revlimiter at the traps at 126 in 4th, spinning it to 6700 rpms. im gonna try a 28 in tire this year
