New Best...now on E85
I am excited to get the suspension lined out and the boost up to par to run some good numbers.
Maybe I could get 10 second club added to username?

Were they the same mods before switching, and I am guessing you get better than 91 at the pump, if so what was the octane rating?
I am asking, because i want to know if it is worth the switch. I am building the drag car to take E85, but simple enough to keep it on pump gas.
by the way, congrats on the new numbers.
It is worth the switch only if you are close your detonation or knock threshold on pump gas. You guys have large displacement engines. You don't have to run as high of boost pressures of the smaller displacement engines.
Yes E85 can work good on lower HP numbers in the 700whp and lower range with large displacement. Things like improved intake charge temps. More timing at the same boost pressures. It cleans out a lot of **** in the engine...
But basically, For E85 to start showing it's true colors for you large displacement guys, you probably have to be up around the 1000whp mark. Then you will start to see how knock resistant E85 is, and the power you can actually achieve while using the fuel. I would not be surprised to see the 1400whp range easily on E85 on say a 6.0 liter build, and I'm sure it has already been done numerous times.

I know you need to get retuned. I am building mine specifically to take E85. But before i redo the whole fuel pump and lines, was just wondering if it was a significant gain by switching to e85.
i am hoping for 600 rwhp, out of a 409 6 liter block with LS7 heads, built to the max, and on E85.
I was wondering if its achievable. will find out in a month or 2 i guess, lol.
