Had some good da today although it seemed to make little difference in my mph. It trapped the same as always. But it did pick up a new best

Looks like the timers were off... second slip says you cut a 1.26 60 ft. Congrats on the 10.9 on the first slip nonetheless

I admit...the 1.26 60' does look fishy. But the car in the right lane was a e85 sc 5bro. His 60's was a 1.45 and he treed me. But I was in front of him till just after the 330' mark. I went to talk to him to see if it was a typo on my slip but his said the same. He said...."no man....I had a hell of a time catching you"....lol

He was letting out at the 1000' to keep from getting booted.

Umm... Don't know what to say. Do you actually believe you cut a 1.26? The timer was off at least in your lane on that run. It takes A LOT of power to cut a 1.2X 60. Plenty of 9 second cars not touching that.. The 10.9 looks legit though. Finally put some slicks on I see.

Matter of fact even Vetteboy with his race prepped Corvette stock LS6 was only cutting 1.3X and running 10.0's...

Idk....all I know is what I told you. There is no way I should've been in front of his car even with the 1.52 60' and being treed. His car consistently does 1.4's, so combine that with his better reaction and the only way I could get in front of him is to 60' better.

The reaction is also calculated off the timers, which were off.. so you could have red lit for all we know. It doesn't add up. I edited the above post when I remembered Vetteboy was only cutting 1.3X 60's in his race prepped LS6 car going 10.0's...

It is impossible.

Like I said....I was out on him somehow. He came around me after the 2-3 shift....which I assume is around the 330'. The timers don't start till the car moves.

Maybe your front tires didn't trip the beams somehow and you were moving out when your rear tires tripped them starting the timers? That would explain a jump with the other guy sleeping at the light, your slower reaction time on the slip, and would also explain a 1.26 60'. Don't really know how it happened... All I know is that you did not cut a 1.26 60 with a bolt on LS6.

Yeah, you me and Jesus know that your car didn't pull a 1.26 60' Doug. Good run either way, though.

Edit: Just for reference...

I've seen cars pick up the front wheels with a 1.7 60 irun14....so your point is what?

the vid of the 10.9 run. It did not get into the power as quickly on this run.

That your car didn't pull a 1.26 60' time. Did you read any of the numbers on that picture?

I'm gonna say this one time. I talked to the guy in the right lane with the tt 5.0 auto. He said he had been cutting 1.4s all day. And on this particular run that hio shot off from him on the 60ft. The guy had been running 9.80s to 10.0s all day. Never met hio in his life. No reason for him to lie. And to be honest I questioned the 1.2 until I talked to the guy in the right lane.
