Yeah the da was similar. All that was done was swap out the carb and right out of the box it went 6.58 in the 1/8 made a few jet changes and this was the out come. Still running the same timing as gas also.

Wow, that's huge. How was your tune changed to take advantage of the E85? I saw the newer cars are benefiting but I didn't know it could help the older cars as well.

Im running a carb setup, but as far as timing in the MSD box I didn't change anything in it. I was running 36 degrees of timing on gas and that is currently what its running now on e85. the only changes to the carb ive made are jet size to see what afr it wants. e85 will help any car new or old just have to have the fuel system setup for it.

I don't think it does. He said something about swapping carbs as well. His other carb must have been a big restriction.

Went from a holley 850 double pumper to a prosystems 750 carb. So carb was not a restriction was just not a professionally built carb, it was an off the shelf piece. From what I have seen e85 will make more power and tq than gas up to a certain point which is around 14:1 compression then your better off with alcohol or high octane race gas. I was skeptical about making the switch to e85 but I was tired of the fuel bill of running the Sunoco gt100 at 8.99-10.75 a gallon vs e85 at 1.89-2.10
