I'm using the Lingenfelter lnc2000 to pull timing and as my upper rpm limit. The factory limiter is set to over 8,000 and the lnc set to 6,800. The factory limiter cuts fuel, not spark and you don't want spark when on the limiter and possibly still spraying wet. The lnc cuts spark. It's the Orange box on the passenger shock tower. The nitrous outlet window switch activates it when spraying so I'm running optimal timing on motor when the system is activated, but not spraying. The lnc2000 has its own harness and plugs in between the coil harnesses on each side. Super easy install. Just had to run one wire btn it and the window switch.

That makes sense. That's a smart setup. How hard was it to wire the nitrous outlet box?

Yup. Also has gear lockout so you can have it start spraying in second or third of you have traction issues. I have it set to spray from 4000-6300 when the throttle is at least 90%. Pretty easy to wire. Power, ground, output to the lnc, ground for the relays for the solenoids, one to the passenger coil harness, and one to the tps.

I ended up buying the chris1313 ram air, but didn't notice a difference over what I had. The chris1313 is just easier to work with when you work on the car a lot. 4" I believe.

Made some passes at the local 1/8th mile track to get timing sorted out for WOT since I did 799s and cam. Just a test and tune day and it didn't look like they were prepping the track, just cleaning it. Made one pass on 150 shot and went 6.90 @ 101 with 1.57 60'

I'm using the sloppy stage 2 Elgin cam. 228/230 .585 112. Not sure if I'm disappointed with it yet as I really need to run it in similar conditions. Only shows +2 mph in the 1/8, but da was worse.
I checked my logs and timing was 23.5 at wot before the 6 degrees pulled. I made a rookie mistake and didn't make my timing changes to the next row so when the car went higher than .76 on cylinder airmass, it was calculating between 26 and 22 Degrees. Oh well, get it next time.

Yeah get the motor tune straitened out will definitely pick up a little more. The turbo guys like the sloppy cam well enough haven’t seen a lot about it on motor dosent seem like a bad option though. Where did you run it?
