Cool to see an older and often forgotten Vette. Love the older Vettes.

Got a chance to drive back to Atco Raceway for street tire test and tune, just before they closed for good. I drive the car to the track and it's 2 hours each way.

Got a new time.

Since my car is a cruiser, I refuse to get a trans brake and one of those clunky shifters. So I've been foot braking and haven't been able to hold the brakes (even with two calipers in the back) to build any boost for the launch. I added a "sloppy brake" feature in my controller a long time ago, but haven't used it till now. Well I finally tried it at the track. Works great. I can hold any amount of boost now.

So this run was with 1 lb of boost on the launch. I tried 2.5 lbs of boost in the next run, but did not do a good burnout and the track was too cold, so I spun and ran 10.6.

I was working on getting it down to 9 seconds., but now that Atco is closed it's not likely to happen.

Car is 3750 lbs as raced.
