Thumbs up My 10 second info........

I ran the 10.97@122.25 on my 1st pass with BFG 345/30/18 drs and stock F45 suspension at Richmond Dragway on 3/14/04. 60'=1.52, 1/8=6.99@98.81, 1/4=10.97@122.45mph (3,680 lbs. race ready). This is my street car we drive 700 miles+ one way to events and cruise ins.

This is what a 1.52 60' 10.97 run looks like on BFG G-force 345/30/18s

As for running quicker 10s.......considering at the time it had stock 245/45/17 runflats w/ repo polished thin spokes(50 lbs each rim/tire) BFG G-force 345/30/18s drs with HRE 545 18 x 12s (57 lbs each rim/tire), TR6 plugs in it(For NOs), weighs 3680, run with a full tank of pump gas for traction on drs and hitting the rev limiter on 1-2 a few times and on the top end every time........it has some more in it. Once I get my TC lock-up switch or taller tires, my quest for 1.4x on drs continues. I will tweak it some more before I go to skinnies & slicks get my best NA run and then push the funny little button for some......9s.
These are car specs:
1997 Artic White C5 AAB,AG2,AQ9,B34,B84,CC3,CJ2,D42,FE1,F45,GU2,MXO,NG 1, QDR,T96,UN0,V49.
BORN 01/06/1997
417 cid NA DRM/Cartek stroker (4.010B X 4.125S), 11/15/03 448 rwhp 504rwtq spinning runflats

VR-1B ram air system
STAINLESS WORKS 3" Exhaust
Ported LS6 intake & TB
LS1-EDIT
Cartek 1-7/8 headers
3.90 gears
Rossler built stage 2 A4
Yank PRO THRUSTER 4000
HRE 545 18x12s w/345/30/18 DRs & HRE 545 18 x 9.5 w/275/35/18 BFg KDWs
Custom welded in 6 point Roll Bar w/swing outs
Local 2" Mini tub

On 10/22/04 I rented a local track for the day for some T&T, quick 8 & a little bracket racing for some $$$ with some buddies..........and for my wife to learn how to race!
She is hooked!
While there I ran with some TR55 plugs and have a new best top MPH of 124.69! Too bad it was a cloudy day......would have been in the 10.8xs with a better than 1.77 60' launch below. Best ET for the day was 11.29.
Tires moved over 1" on the rim that day. 18psi hot give the best 60' on this car

fast for a full weight car! if the car was light like everyone else you would be running 10's.

I know a lighter tire/rim will help as increasing unsprung weight is a bad thing........but I wanted these for street traction and to get this car into the 10s by driving to the track ( 50 to 450 miles one way), letting out some air and lining it up.
I have some 275/35/18 drs I plan to try at my next track rental just to see...I just need a tire/wheel test day to see at what width traction gets bad with drs, slicks and Bias plys
