Has the car been lightened up any?? I have always been impressed with the way your car runs. When It was for sale I was tempted to put a for sale sign on my car and buy yours. Props for an awesome car man!!

ran 10.80 yesterday on 27x11/5 hoosier qtp's.. spinning on the rim and on the track LOL. 1.52 to 1.54 60 foot times. Had I screwed these to the rim, I'm sure it would have been even better.

Next year, I'm on a set of 28x10.5 et drag's, and they're getting screwed to the rim.

I've always used tire sealer from Discount Tire and never had to use screws. I ran a 1.36 in my 88 Mustang with 13 psi, no screws.

I've heard of other people doing that, some have had good luck, others have not.

I'm gonna go the screw route, simply because I know that works.

absolutely... I like to do things right.. should have gone with 28's and screwed them in teh first place.. but I wanted to see if I could get away with the tire you have on your car boris.. they work decent.. btu I know the bigger ones are gonna be better.

ET streets FTW......

especially with a manual trans car.......they hit the tires so much harder than an auto, the softer sidewall on the bias ply tire (as opposed to the radial) really helps out.

Hoosier 26 x 10 x 15 slicks on Bogarts last year.
Hoosier 28 x 10 x 16 slicks on 16" salad shooters for now.

Next up, Hoosier 28 x ??? x 15 radials(325/50/15)? 28 x 10 x 15 full slicks? I just don't know what I'm going to try next at this point.
