I depends on a lot of factors.

Weight of the car (Is your car full weight or stripped down?)

Weather Conditions (What was the DA? 3000' or -1000')

Traction (How well does the car 60'?)

A 3000lb car with a 1.5x 60' and a -1000 DA might need as little as 400rwhp

A 3500lb car with a 1.6x 60' and a +3000 DA might need as much as 500rwhp

600 ought to git it done if you can get it to stick to the track. A little weight loss will make 10s alot easier JMO. Good luckto ya, Tom

Yea, there's a gillion combinations of weight, hp and mods that equal 10s.

Wondering the same thing myself. I'm looking at adding a kmember and a-arms, and aerospace drag brakes front and rear, so that the 6/8pt and the blowproof bellhousing will end up not upping the weight of the car at all. My car's a pig weight wise, and with the stick, I was thinking that it's gonna take in the 600 to 675 range with my driving to get to around 10.50, unless I swap in an auto, then I could probably do it with 100 HP less.

Ideally.. I'd like to get my car to run 10.90 leaving the line like I would from a stoplight... just rolling into it. Probably a pipe dream though.

its not about how much HP you have its about if you can make the thing hook and get moving... with what you just said you will prob just blow the tires off.

if you can get it to hook you will be close

At the other end of the spectrum. 575rwhp and still not there. Full weight vert (+ add. of supercharger parts) + 17" drag radials. I do feel with some tires that hook I would easily be there though.

I went 11.90@112 with 349rwhp in a FULL WEIGHT WS6 with an A4 and a 3600 stall. Got the turbo on and ran with 7psi, blew 3rd gear out, and coasted to a 13.0X@81 mph!!! LOL. I went 13.38 @109 with lid and filter last year
