Default 10 sec 346 guys- what headers

I'm taking off the SLP LT's and need some help on picking out a new set. I'm leaning toward a set of stepped Kooks 1"3/4 to 1"&7/8 with a 3" collector. But then again I like the HVMC on the QTP's .Also just switched to a T Mamo ported FAST 90mm and NW 90mm TB and a TNT F1 kit

I was wondering this myself. I have a set of 1 3/4 Kooks and was thinking about swapping over to a 1 7/8 Kooks. I've got a cam only setup, but thought maybe since I only see 5000-7200 rpms that it might help. Plus I have a big cam in the car.

I got stepped dynatechs.

To be honest, none of them really make a difference.

The SLP collector is junk, I would just cut it off and get new collectors.

Kooks headers are bad ***. I personally dont believe that those HVMC headers work to well becasue I was told by me performace specialist that they wern't true equal length headers. So the gases won't merge into that collecter at the same time. More restrictive is how I see it.

I have FLP 1 3/4" with ORY and a cut out in the I pipe. And I was thinking about switching to the new Eldbrock headers. I'm not sure If I'll gain much.
But I'm also doing a H/C swap with a fast 90 setup. And thought it might help.

Times below are the first day out spraying the 150 jets. And the tune is a NA tune.
Makes me wonder what it really would of done totally tweeked! LOL.

Don't forget about my little MAC's with stock collectors and 2.5" mufflers. Ran just under 130 when I was H/C with them. Made ~650 with the exact same exhaust on my 427. The stepped headers on the dyno on the 427 showed minimal, if any gains. So, for ground clearance since I wheelstand so much, I stayed with the MAC's. Take care.

I'd recommend 1-7/8" - 2" w/ 3.5 inch collector if you are sprayin

I'm switching to them when I get a little cash on my cam only nitrous setup...

I'm currently running the Kooks strait 1-7/8 w/ 3.5 inch collector. I swapped a set on for dyno purposes and picked up around 15-20 on the bottle w/ exhaust on the car....3.5 inch true dual system.
