Default 10 second pass am i outa my mind?

hey

99camaro
346, LT, open headers, with ls1 intake, ported tb. with a sd tune.
dart 225 heads
tsp 233/239
9in not sure what gear i want to run
nx wet shot 150
th400 on the trans brake.

seein what the experts think, i have some stuff to sort out but i am hoping for 10s by the end of the year.

you think its possible.

What's the stall on the converter? very important.
411 gears with a tall tire will help.
LS6 intake would be better
with a 150 shot you will want to retard your timimg about 7 degrees and run cooler plugs.

I would highly recomend a good tune (LS1 edit)etc... . You need to know where you are before you make a lot of decisions.

Possible if you do it the right way.

well my tranny guy told me he recomends a 10in lockup convertor stalling around 5k or so. i run tr6 plugs in the car, the car will be tuned for nitrous.

down the road i iwll be running a ported ls2 intake.

Oh yeah...easy 10s.

I went 11.20 alot less and hoping to run in the 10s with that same cam, but stock heads...

what do you guys recomend as far as gears go? i still wanna be able to cruise down the road at 55-60mph, at a reasonable rpm.

4.11 gears are fine without a nitrous setup. If your going to race with nitrous when you do race. Go with 3.73 gears.
