mods in the sig, im adding a 125 shot on the Camaro that should put me well into the 10's

and adding a cam, valve springs nd biggger injectors that should put me in very high 10's hopefully. i drive both of them on the street on a regular basis. both are daily drivers if i wanted them to be but i drive the camaro more.

Thanks, but not asking for basic opinions..... looking for people that are in the 10's and willing to list their proven recipes.

stock LS1, built th350, 3600 stall, moser 12 bolt, 3:73's, 28x10.5x15 slicks, and a 150 shot.

get that 60' way down and the times will follow.

managed to cut a 1.47 60' on stock *** worn out 91 suspension.

I tried to do it on the 10 bolt, didn't happen, for teh 6 spd, a 12 bolt is a must.

the mods it took me to get there are

lid
pro 50 shifter
42 lb injectors
headers
true duals
cam
150 shot
12 bolt
ram hd clutch
MT drag radials
lower control arms & relocation brackets
minor weight reduction
& lots of practice!

got me several 10.8's at 127-129 best being 10.81@129.49 pretty sure a fresh T-56 would of put me in the 10.7's consistently.

yall spend lots of money to be in the 10's lmao....i mean dont get me wrong i would too if i had the money....and i know u dont want basic recipes and **** but i promise u its proven some stage 2 heads, a big cam, headers, ofy pipe, and a stall and u should be in mid to low 11's on motor then on the gas u should hit 10's....but itd do some suspension like atleast torque arm or something cause itll snap quick

I have bolt ons , cam only and Nos, you dont need heads to go 10s you just need and good shot of the Jucie. You can get everything you need in the for sale section to go 10s easy.

is 12 bolt a must for a 10 second fbody? or is there something you can do to the 10 bolt or maybe something cheaper then the 12 bolt? Cuz i plan to daily drive my car, so it will be juiced for the times i want (high 10s).

you pretty much need a 12 bolt. yes a few lucky people got into the 10s with the stock 10 bolt, but thats very rare. automatics are a little easier on the rearend and have a little better chance getting into the 10s. but i watched my buddy blow his stock 10 bolt up at the track. i think he had 2 full passes then the 3rd BOOM! time to call the tow truck.

Less efficient = more power to drive.
Not a GM rear
HEAVY

But a 9" is/can be stronger than a 12-bolt, especially behind manual trans cars. A new contender lately has been the Dana 60. Which is heaviest of the 3 but also the/one of the strongest available. Not sure about power to drive, but it cant be too bad.

a 9" is also loud and if you didn't have traction control you will lose your abs!

I have a 9" in my third gen, great rear end! It is stronger then a 12 bolt but costs a few ponies.
If the lost power really bothers you check out strange engineerings website. They make a rear that is basically a 9" but the center section uses 12 bolt components with 12 bolt pinion/ring gear alignment-pretty trick!
Get the benefits of both rears.
