Default Made it today.. the ESP 402 rocks!

Went to the track rental today at lvd... after the first test passes, some suspension changes needed to be made... after making them, the car ran a new best today of 10.80 @ 123.97 That pass the 60 foot was a 1.531, much better then the mid 1.6's that it was running the first day out.

Scales weren't working, but I suspect the car's weight to be about 3570, I removed some things ( carpet backing, pasenger seat, not much else) for today, that along with the suspension tuning definately got it there.

Car ran a slew of passes all between the 10.97 and 10.80 range, all trapping in the 123 to 124 mph range. I think that with some more suspension work, a set of 28 inch tires to get it hooking that little bit better that it needs, and maybe a little more tuning (get the breakin tune out) there's some more to come.. but I'll rest for the winter on this. Rollbar, a set of kirkey seats and the race harness, as well as a couple other things are the winter's plan.. oh and a nitrous plate kit to mix things up a little

I can't seem to get the slip that I scanned loaded up... I've tried saving it as a jpeg, tif, etc.etc but for some reason it doesn't want to load.

I think that humvee z28 on here has a couple of the runs on video.. lvd's scoreboard wasn't showing the et as usual, but the mph was working.. go figure.

I'd like to thank sonic snake for towing my car up today, and KeithSS for letting us use his trailer.

I will get the slip attached as soon as I can...

oh yeah.. Over the winter, like I said I'm gonna get the safety stuff taken care of, next spring when it comes back out, if all thigns go as planned it will be about 50 lbs lighter, with a 6 pt in the car, and have a NOS plate kit on it. I'm gonna start off soft with it, probably 125, and go from there. I suspect that should get into teh low 10's with ease.

You got me beat. I'm complaining about spending $35,000 this year, and like you, didn't even touch the exterior yet. I wish it could have been a down payment on a Z06 instead. Oh well, the house has to come first.

Next year I will have plenty of track time ( I hope ).

actually, I did the whole exterior... all new windows, siding, new storm door on the front and back, new front door and frame, new deck built out of the composite material with the white railings, built a 24x24 garage, with a 10.5 foot ceiling so I can get a lift like the one brad has if I want to... the only things I didn't get to do this year was pave my driveway, which I figure is gonna be about 8 grand or more, and up the elec service in the house to 200 amp, and get the power run out to the garage. I'm gonna put a 100 amp sub panel out there, so I can run a welder, the lift, a compressor, etc.etc. After the power goes in the garage.. I plan to insulate and sheetrock it, and put a gasheater in it, and just get one of those big *** propane bottles put on a small slab around the back of the garage. Only thing I didn't do that I wish I had done is put a side door in. It will be a pain to put in now because they'll have to cut the concrete... but maybe in a couple years.. I didn't think I'd want it, but now it seems like it would have been a good idea. Oh well. Like you.. my house came first. Will next year too, at least the driveway and the service update, even if I don't get power in the garage.

With a converter that flashes to 6000.. the dyno # doesn't really mean much.

I was just wondering because my et245 setup made 490 though a big converter. I am not trying to dyno race just compare numbers.
