Is this good enough for a 10 sec. Slip? I went to the local 1/8th mile track the other day and ran a 6.92@102.49... I was running on 26" ET Drags with 3.73 gears, rowing the gears.. Race weight was 3420lbs with driver.. I was also running out of gear a little before the finish line so I think I would have ran alot better on some 28" ET Drags.. They were also spinning pretty bad out of the hole, 60ft's were 1.53's... What do you guys thing this run would have been in the 1/4?

Damn Dan, that's a fantastic MPH for that time. My 6.86 @ 100.5 turned into a 10.76 @ 126 so with your extra MPH I'm confident you'd motor past me in a 1/4 mile. I'd bet you'd be running some low 10.70's or even some high 10.60's given that 660' effort. What shot are you spraying to run this?
Also, just curious, do you think the spinning you did out of the hole added a little MPH to your run that might not have been there otherwise. I only ask because I ran over 102 in the 1/8th when my car spun out of the hole some.

The only thing about your times and mine is that you have an A4 and I have a 5 spd.. You will run a better time the I would just because of that.. but I can drive a 5 spd pretty good.. My guess it would be in the mid to upper 10.8's..

I don't think you would've made a 10sec pass. Because if your about to run out of gears then you would be running alot slower the other half of the track. That would be my opinion. But nice 1/8 times though. There another nasty 5spd Mach 1 in Ft. Worth I want to race that runs 6.8s. I should be back visiting again in December.

And Bill you went from saying 9's to 8's what is it going to be now 7's LMFAO. Go get your car finished first before you go making claims to times it will run.
