Default In the tens first time out.

My first pass with the Mecham got a little crazy after I hit second gear but I was able to keep it under control. The first was an 11.23 @124 on a 1.69 60', the third/last pass was a 10.93 @127 on a 1.66 60'.

For my first time out with four year old ET streets, full weight 3700+ and road racing susp. im very pleased. Everyone was having issues with the track, it wasnt a good night to run your car for sure. At one point I waited in the staging lanes for close to two hours.

Congrats. Looks like you had some serious spinning issues. You have really good MPH for your times.

Thanks!

Track prep was a real issue with everyone that night. between that and the four year old 26/10.5 ET streets I was walking a fine line. Im sure I could use more seat time also, it was my first time on slicks and my first with a six speed.

Thunder valley in Nobel OK.

A few of my friends went to Tulsa the next day and had zero track issues. I have never been there but everyone says its a hell of a lot better track.

Thanks again guys!

Its so convenient to run here at Thunder valley. I dont have a trailor ither so the car is driven everywhere or I would have been there last weekend. Thats all I need is to break something that far from home.

I hope to get it back to the track before it gets hot again with some fresh tires and a little less weight. When I tried to go over 5k on th launch I spun and also spun good going into second on every pass.

Yeah I know what ya mean about the convenience factor, I put the slicks and skinnies on and drive mine to Tulsa Raceway Park and I live a solid 30min from it. Sad thing is, I have a 03 Duramax I could be haulin it with but I have no car trailor, haha.
