Bolt on Corvette C5 goes 10's...... New Record
Just got in from a rental and one of the cars I tune broke the Bolt-On Record on his second pass out. This was a long standing record of a great driver in his own right. Past Record was 11.21@123 and on his second pass he went 11.16@122 Some great driving!
Looking to further better the numbers, the car went another 11.16, a few 11.12@122's, then as the air got alittle better car went (2) 11.06@123
Last pass of the day.......................... 10.99@123!!!

Great job driving, Gary and great tuning/parts combo from AMR.Beating Dr. Ron's C5 bolt on only record was no small task and is a testament to your driving skills and the work done for you by Tommy and Troy.

This is a Corvette record. Keep in mind this is also a 100% daily driver and no drag pack. Looking to push this into the 10.8's or 10.7's

93 octane, 17in DR, and DA according to local weather station was about -1200. No one had a handheld to see the actual DA but it was pretty good air. Gary also tips the scale at 260lbs 6'2'' and has stock Z06 exhaust as well as a Stock LS6 intake.

Gotta love -DA at this time of the year and the vette proved it not to mentioned Gary is a damn Big guy

I'm thinking if he answers it is likely the numbers will be from a Mustang Dyno, and it would be an extrapolation to put those numbers in DynoJet terms.
With that said, I don't think I've ever seen a bolt-on only C5-Z with gears make over 400rwhp on a DynoJet and I'm sure this one would be no exception.
