Default oh so bittersweet

finally got my shot at the track with some sticky tires and a tick adjustable master cylinder (now I can bang some gears). I put the monster level 3 in around August, but my nt555's could never hold it to its true potential. Well..... the M/T et streets did. got a new best of 11.8 on the pass before (glad to be in the 11's) then I got greedy and gave her hell, Im just glad I made it in first. she'll be down for quite a while now, gotta save for that midwest chassis fab 9" enjoy

yeah, I think once the funds are available its gonna be a midwest chassis fab 9" with some 4.10's. but thats a ways down the road, no money for now I found an axle on ebay for $60 shipped, plus fluid and rtv, im back on the road for a grand total of $90. Not as catastrophic as I originally thought. Just no more track time for me... for now

Yup, Lol, I knew it had a lot more, that's why I got greedy, I wasn't worried and I knew it was coming, had a few buddies with me, bummed a ride home and grabbed the truck, rented a trailed from uhaul for $50 and was home within a few hours of it happening

You don't see broken axles as often. Are you a victim of bad wheel hop?

I thought it was kind of strange too, the car has almost zero wheel hop, my burnouts and launches have always been pretty pretty smooth, and I never had any hard launches until that run, everything else I just slipped the clutch off the line
