Went to KCIR last night and this being my first time at a track EVER. First pass i did on motor so i could get the feel of things, ran 12.87 @105 1.8 60'

Next pass i decided to spray it, ran 11.8 @119 1.9 60'

Did two more nitrous passes and all the times were nearly identical, all 11.8's. Got one more pass in before the night was over, i got excited trying to get a better time and blew the tires off. I was having nitrous issues through out the night. Felt like it was cutting in and out along with some spuddering on one pass. We think my nitrous solenoid needs rebuilt or just replaced, been on the car for almost 3yrs. Think the rubber o-ring is going bad and its sweld (sp) up restricting nitrous flow and causing her to run rich.

But I didn't think this was to bad for my first time at a track and running on Nitto 555R's!! Next time i'll put my slicks on and see what it does.

Now instead of saying "tech regular" can it say "11 second club" haha

 

Wait a minute, i just watched the video again and i had ran an 11.74@118 but that was the pass when the printer wasn't working and didn't print my timeslip ...what are the odds, best pass of the night and i don't get a slip for it...

lol i just pulled up in the staging lane and that happened to pull up next to me, i was thinking to myself "uhh seriously?"

 

They should have let the van stage with his rear tires like he was trying to do. Was the van doing a full track burnout or did he blow his shi@t spotting you out to far?

Did you click on the sticky at the top of the 11 second club forum and go through the process to get your title changed? Just posting a thread won't get it done.

i'm pretty sure he blew a tire or something. Shortly after this pass i saw him limp'n it to the pits with a shredded tire.

Come one guys, by the time i get the "11 Second Cub" title i'll be in the 10's! Then i'll wait another couple months and i'll be in the 9's lol
