In the 11's and .....

Decided to hit Capital last Friday for a few runs.
Cut to the chase, here's the runs on the MOTOR ONLY:
Hit it from idle (dumb move!) (f'ing right lane sucks!)
1.785 - 60'
7.360 - 1/8
97.27 - 1/8 mph
11.377@123.42 - 1/4"
Hit it from 2k (f'ing right lane sucks!)
1.81 - 60'
7.57 - 1/8
96.31 - 1/8 mph
11.619@122.46 - 1/4'
Hit it from 2k (left lane)
1.623 - 60'
7.223 - 1/8
96.47 - 1/8 mph
11.274@122.68
Stalled up to approx 2k (left lane) last and final run for the night:
1.695 - 60'
7.25 - 1/8"
97.43 - 1/8 mph
11.26@123.80 - 1/4" - Best 1/4 & mph
This was with the Hoosier DR's approx 19psi initially, then, played around with the air pressure and dropped them to approx 17 psi. Nothing I did appeared to be helping get a 60'. One thing I noticed is that the right lane is a bag of **** and was prepped like ****. I made one pass and had to get out of it because it spun so bad. Errr capital come on guys please prep the f'ing track!
I had a great time, put air back in the tires, pulled the T-Tops and headed home Glad I got some seat time and really need to learn what this car likes in regards to launching. I'm sure that I can get a better 60 foot then the 1.6 once I get the suspension dialed in.... maybe nitrous will get it out of the hole easier/faster?

Cheers,
-Tim
I've had chevy in the past (chevelle, camaro, etc) so I'm not a total stranger...... Trending Topics
