The clutch didn't seem to like it too much so I packed it in after that. It was certainly a fitting end to the season. I don't know what my goals will be for he coming season but I don't want to put a roll bar in the car. It would be nice to run these times in the heat though.
Congrats on the new times, Dave !! I was trying for a 11.2 myself ,but fell short this year. If I get lucky finding a FAST92/92 set-up , I'm sure 11.2's would be mine next season. Congrats again, man .

Thanks Bruce. I'm real happy with how the car is running now. 156k miles on the motor and the old ls1 keeps right on going.

On the last day of the season I was able to get another new best. I was told to slow it down after making several passes. Didn't matter, I was out of gas anyways..
The only thing changed from last week was the removal of the front sway bar.

60'.....1.634
330....4.696
1/8.....7.231 @ 96.74
1k......9.407
1/4.....11.23 @ 124.2

I also got a new best mph of 125.8

I have prostars. I took them off my 94 camaro, which needed no modifications because of the smaller brakes. I thought I would only have to touch up the calipers to get them to fit on the 99. We grinded quite a bit before I threw in the towel. I really was only trying to get them to fit for this last race day. The spacers are 5/16.

Thanks! Nothing beats a hooking, sea level track on a negative da day. I didn't expect to be this quick so I'm more than happy. Just think, a little weight reduction and it would probably be a 10 second car.

Thanks alot for the video Larry. I'm glad we were able to run bests again this year, and more importantly, able to drive home...unassisted.

The cutout is most definitely a worthwhile mod.

Thanks. I don't plan on putting a roll bar in the SS so I'm pretty much done with the modding. I was asked to slow it down.
