Whens the next time your going to Onondaga? I live like 25 minutes from there. Took the camaro out the opening weekend. Just stock 02 z28 with bolt ons. Just hit 12.5 at 131 last weekend. Trying to decide what I am going to change next on the car.

Congrats on the 10s!

It's the front bumper. I first cut holes in it, then later removed what was left when I had the bumper cover off.

Jfab, I don't think I'm going back to Onondaga this year. I might go to help a friend out, but not racing. I'm planning on going to Milan again in October to try for a lower time.

sounds good man! Interested to see the time change with new setup. Sounds relatively close to what I got going on.

Sounds Great Brian. Can't wait to hear your comments about the difference upgrading from the ls6 cam. Did you just go with ls7 lifters? It will be late spring before your able to make any passes down the strip right?

So far the only differences are sound and the car shakes now lol. Yup, New ls7 lifters. Actually pulled ls7 lifters out so someone had the heads off before me, but I had already bought new and swapped to ls2 trays. Late spring to early summer sounds about right. Tuning-wise, I have the idle down pretty good now. Part throttle will take me a day or two once the snow goes away. Then I'll install the larger injectors, see if there are any changes that need corrected, and then start a little on wot before dialing it in at the track.

Good deal. I'll be watching for the response.

You hoping for 10.5's?

Should be bottom 11's, maybe squeak a 10, on motor. For reference, I went 11.04 @ 122 on a 100 shot NOT spraying through the shifts. With the roughly 100 more flywheel hp that I'll have through the shifts, I think it's reasonable. On my 10.88 pass, the nitrous wasn't spraying for 2 seconds of the pass, 1 full second on the 2-3 shift and then about another second when it shut off before the finish. So on the old setup and 150 shot, spraying through the shifts, it was probably a 10.6x car @ 125-6. Now it should be 11 flat on motor and low 10s spraying. It might do a 9 on 150 spraying through the shifts, but i'm just running a stock rebuild 4l60e with shift kit. I'd hate to tear it up when I can't afford to upgrade at the moment. I would also have to change the rear gear to hit low 130s in 3rd gear on a 28" tire for a 9.

edit: and honestly, this is probably as far as I want to go with the car. I just had to have chop chop idle

I did not. It's bigger than what I was looking for. Basically a cheap ms3.
I did go 7.26 @ 94 in 3000' da with an ok 60' with the e1840p.

Went to Milan today and finally made some 1/4 mile passes on the sloppy stage 2 cam and 799s setup. Only got 4 passes in the 7 hours i was there :/ First pass and only motor pass went 11.14 @ 119.5 with 1.50 60'. The rest were 150 shot.

I looked at the logs after that pass and afr was a rich 12.0:1 so I might have been able to shave a little more off. I had some trouble with my laptop recognizing the HP tuners interface, but finally was able to make the changes to lean it out a bit. Wrote the pcm, put the bottle in, and warmed it up.

2nd pass was bad. Spun to a 1.7 60' and i left the gear selector in D2 so I aborted the pass once I hit the limiter a few times. Went 11.5 @ 100

3rd pass was better. Had the selector in D3 this time and got a PB 60' of 1.47 but was hitting some sort of limiter at the top of 2nd and top of 3rd. Went 10.78 @ 121.

Looked at the logs and it was like a limiter was turned on and set to 6200. Window switch sprays from 4300-6500 so i'm lucky I didn't pop the motor riding the limiter in the window, but I didn't realize it was happening and figured I was at my 6700 limit.
Thought about it a bit and figured that the cable was bad from the interface to the laptop so I rewrote the same tune hoping it would fix it. It did. By the time I get back to the line the sun went down and I spun to a 1.59 60' and went 10.70 @ 128. Found out I have a really bad shake 6300+ rpm in 3rd so a new driveshaft is in the future. I'm surprised my rusty stock steel driveshaft has lasted so long.

I didn't get the 10.50 that I want, but I just need to pair a good 60' with a clean pass. I was hoping to toss in the 175 shot jets that I just bought, but didn't get the chance. The 4l60e just keeps taking it, lol. I'll post up the nitrous videos when I get them edited.
