Are you spinning at all? My bolt on setup was very similar to yours and I went 11.81 with 1.62 60' with a 3.42 where it would spin the first few feet. it definitely helps driveability with the converter as I also started witha 2.73 rear. I then went to a 8.8 with a 3.73 and a pro drag radial and dead hooked a 1.52 for an 11.66.

Don’t spin very often but body rolls a lot might need to do something about that

I honestly think you'd pick up a tenth or 2 going to 3.42 from a better 60' and you should gain some mph (1-2). I really liked how mine drove with the 3.42 and 26 tire with yank ss4000. I always felt like the car was a dog around town with the 2.73s having it rev so much to get moving.

Even a nice budget friendly single adjustable rear shock will help with the body roll.

Did you flash converter on that run? Or bring to 2500 and go?

ive been playing with the stall flashing it and trying different stalls, leaves about the same 60' no matter what. i feel like 2000-2300 it leaves harder so that usually what i do.

you should look into a anti roll bar for that twist and a ram air setup. you might gain .1 from gears. gears dont net a whole lot other than better driveability from what ive seen.

Congrats on breaking the 11's
I gained around half a second when I changed from 2.73 to 4.11 gears, but I was still in the high 12's at that point.

Installed a ram it and now it’s hitting the limiter from 1-2. So I didn’t get to see any gains but and going to update the accumulater and see if that helps, also bought sub frame conn. Tube rear control arms, panhard bar, adj torque arm and 3 way adj shock. And ordered a ms3 cam and valve springs. Guna install all the suspension first and run it to see any gains then do the cam

that's the biggest gain I've ever seen from a gear swap only. gears were the only thing changed ?

Your tuner should be able to adjust your shift points. odd it started that after ram air install.
which ram air kit did you go with?

That's odd, I would check the tune, but just changing the intake shouldn't cause that.

That should help with your launch and get your 60' down some. I need to adjust my shocks still, I'm still lifting the fronts too much.
The cam will help with your ET. I have yet to get into the engine, cam is probably my next power upgrade.

Basiclly yes. I did swap the entire rear, but it was still a stock 10-bolt, just it had 4.11's instead of the 2.73's mine had. But it is possible there were issues with my original which might account for some of the gain.

EDIT: 4.10's not 4.11's (not that it is a big difference...), my current 9" has 4.11's
