Default whats faster a s/c vs. h/c

hey guys im just curious. if you took an auto fbody with a p1sc making 6-8 lbs of boos, running headers, ory, catback, pulley vs. an auto fbody with a 3600 stall 3.42, longtubes, off road y, pulley, afr 205, 228/228 cam.. which would be faster at the track. im sure both of these setups will run 11's..

The H/C stall car will probably edge you out right off the line. It would be close though.

If the P1 car had a stall it might be a different story.

I am kind of biased my self though, As I have a AFR/228 setup. Should be good for low 11's w/ traction.

man, that really would be a close one. i agree that stall would probably get him off the line and pull. im not too sure how blowers work off the line.

I'd like to know trap speeds as well. For comparison.

Swap the 241 heads on the Z and it will make a world of difference. A good set of heads will get you under 11.5, easy.

Raceweight and traction will likely determine the outcome.

Say for a somewhat daily driver.

hey steve when you get back into town we will have to go to the track. So ya gonna put the juice on the white one.

Well his white car is now very quiet as he ctually has an exhaust on it now- used to be open headers. the black one is more like a show car, it is in amazing condition.
