it was a cooler day out at quaker city raceway in salem, my dad went 12.21 at 111.** the first run, every tiem he runs his car runs the idle up after he stops, and it stays at a high idle, second run he dropped to 12.09 @ 112.** and 60' dropped from 1.69 to 1.65, third and final run he went 11.99 @ 113 and 60' went to 1.60, btw, his car stalled all three runs at the starting line after burnout, he has a mail order tune by pcm for less, hasnt gotten it on the dyno, but we origionally used stropes speed shop... big mistake, he has the slp 500 horsepower package, with the 225 afr heads, a .571/.576 lift cam, moser 12 bolt, 3.73 gears, 42lb injectors, lsx 90/90, smooth bellow, 4l65e built by rossler, 4000 stall converter, and m/t et drags, with a lot of suspension goodies, he thinks he is spinning off the line, but we also know the car isnt tuned right, it was running 12.20 to 12.50, we fixed that after we realized stroped put the throttle cable on the slot on the throttle body for half throttle when peddle is pushed down, we think he should be around 11.8 at quaker, bad track to get good numbers at, what do you think?

well he noticed a HUGE inprovement when he ran this time from the fact that he had to tap the gas on the line to keep it from stalling, so he was actually launching at a higher rpm
