do i have a chance ? Haven't got my car (00 TA M6)to the track yet this year and i am planning on going next weekend with my new setup. I put in a TSP 231/ 237 cam and a full exhaust. The car alos has a granetelli MAF, 4:10's and nitto dr's. The car put down 393rwhp and 375rwtq. Is there any chance that i can get this thing into the high 11's. Its also a full weight car with the stock 10 bolt.
I went 12.8 at 109 with a lid and catback last time at the track..

Yes, the world record on a cam only car was 9.95.....your problem will be traction....lighten up that car a bit.....seats, spare tire......and get that thing to hook. That will be the main problem....if you have a few extra $$$ layn around get some good shocks and springs for the front....if you want PM me and I can give ya some pointers on gettn your car into the 11's with what you currently have done to it..
my old 99 m6 t/a went 11.87@119 with only LT's, Tsp true duals, 224 cam, ls6 intake and 3.73's. Had some suspension and e.t. streets. so i would say 11's no problem raceweight was 3605lbs
heres a pointer, take off the Granetelli maf and put the stock one back on.
do you have DRs? if so launch from 4500 and slip the clutch, you should hit high 1.7s and get the 11 sec slip

well i have nitto 555r's on the car now. They don't hook the best but they are better than street tires. I don't wanna put a better tire on for the rear's sake.

yeah i know i have to put a rear in it to have a better chance at 11's.
I think that i might give it a shot with the 10 bolt and see what happens and if it breaks i'll be forced to put a rear in it....
I have E/T streets for the car but i want to give the rear somewhat of a chance...

sorry to hijack but i have a quick question, i have a tsp 231/237 cam with lt's and lid. But my low end power sucks its like a 4cyl civic until like 4k rpm(maybe a little better) but what can i do to help out my low end power. I dont want to do gears because i plan on getting a 9" oh and i have a m6.
