Yeah I did use to have BFGoodrich drag radials on it. They just weren't working out. I just put the Sunoco hood on Sunday. I don't know when Macungie is having another cruise night. Maybe the car will be fixed by then so I'll have to keep a look out for your car. I kinda remember seeing your car as well.

whats the raceweight of your car? are you running skinnies up front?

I never had it weighed yet. As of right now I'm just running my z06 wheels up front. The crash at the track kinda put a hold on any purchasing of wheels at the moment. But the car should be back on the road and to the track in the next few weeks hopefully. Well that's the plan at least.

I did remove the A/C system , rear seat and the spare tire and jack. So I'm sure it knocked off at least close to 100ish or so pounds, and now I have a fiberglass hood on it so that should help just a tad bit.

you removed exactly what I removed from my car and with the 17's on it and me in it the car is exactly 3500lbs with a 1/4 tank of gas. verified at two different scales.

I believe the next car show is august 18th from 6-10 I might be there depending on if the car breaks or not you never know when ur racing haha.

Thanks, the car went to the local body shop this morning for the frame to be straightend. Then once that's done we know I guy that does great body work on the side so he's gonna finish the rest of it for me. Hope to get at least an 11.6 out of it yet before the end of the season.

I was thinking of the Qa1 coil overs as a possible choice for the back.

I just spoke to a few people about drag shocks,most recomend the Strange shocks over the QA1's. So, I went ahead and ordered them from Steve@ SJM(a sponser here). He had great prices on them, and is one of the nicest guys I have spoken to yet.

If You have the money, def go with AFCO.....Strange are good, but more of a budget adjustable shock. Afco is top of the line.

Well it sounds like the Strange or Qa1 is what I'd probably end up with. The car is NO high budget car at this point. Maybe one day.I like to shoot for the middle of the road products. Stuff that's good but not necassarily the absolute top of the line. That's why I only went with single adjustable front shocks from Qa1, didn't feel I needed the double adjustable.
