1.554 60ft granny shifted a 11.313@124.41mph
Well I decided to go to cecil county dragway last nite due to some friends were heading down. I went ahead and took the vette thinking the slightly cooler thermostat may help in the warmer weather. It was 75 deg's on my first pass. 2nd full pass it was 70deg's. Not a good nite due to after the first pass I pull up for a 2nd pass and get the one roll down the window mod.... "one more pass below 11.50 and youre done till you get the proper safety equipment". I honestly couldnt be really mad about it, it is the rules. So that kinda put the cabash on the next pass and had a beautiful launch and with the front staying up, slight spin to a 1.63 60ft then MISSED 2nd gear like it was going out of style.
So I figured if I'm going to get kicked out I might aswell let the car cool and run really well. In the back of my head i'm worried about missing a gear again. Got a great launch... ok a really great launch on the next pass. I shifted quickly but not to quickly due to I wanted to make a full pass without FN up. Well low and behold I screwed myself out of a considerably new best time doing so. Times are as follows on the last pass.
60ft-1.554
330ft-4.685
1/8th-7.253
1/8mph-96.37mph
1000ft-9.483
1/4mi-11.313
1/4mph-124.41mph
FYI this is a new best by .001/.19mph LMAO!!! IT COUNTS DAMNIT!

Tire pressure at 14psi hot, gas at just above 1/4 tank plus torco accelerator 32oz's to 10gal. I changed the RPM launch technique on this pass. I had the rpm's around 5500rpm and as my aggression came out I tried to match my clutch release with revving the car up to 6200rpm. This is slightly different then holding my foot steady, letting the clutch release come then hitting the gas. Instead my foot is already on its way in. Worked quite well.

Thanks she's doing ok. I just need to work out a way to make the car shift better. Then with the cold weather a ported Fast90 intake and ported LS2 TB with some tuning and 38lbs injectors. I'm shooting for 10.9's NA around 126-127mph. Time will tell

Thanks I know I gotta work on some things with the car. I am getting retuned, my fast intake and ls2 tb ported. Putting the 38lbs injectors in and I also purhased a 2008 C6 Z06 shifter, changing the tranny fluid and air fuel sensors. Then back to the track in cooler air. I think those items should be enough to crack her into the 10's for me. Keep an eye out for the updates My quest for the 10's with a 346ci M6 vette.
