First 12 second pass The first time I got into the 12's was on a set of factory Goodyears, with a 3:73 cogg. 12.99 at about 110 mph. The same day I tired a pass with a set of Mickey Thompson drag radials and I only ran a 13.27 at 102 mph. The tires were just to sticky. I picked up a vigilante 3000rpm converter and ran a 13.44 at 106mph. Man I lit those goodyears up! I put the M/T's on and ran a 12.71. I had a custom tune done and ran a 12.59. I'm consistantly in the 12.60 range in "good air". This is probablt the cheapest way to get quick with out any power adders. No internal engine work either.

Nice runs, wish I could run that on all motor but I need a 125 shot in our crappy air! Mine did the same thing on motor only with the sticky tires...just bogged and ran worse. So are your only mods the 3.73 gears and the Vig stall converter? If so those are real good runs I'd say. Put your mods in your signature so everyone knows what ya got.
Other than headers a converter is is at the top of my 'want list'. I don't think I want to go above a 3000 stall since mines a DD. What kind of mileage do you get with those gears and converter around town?
