Default Finally a 12 second pass at 6500' DA

Car is a 99 M6 Trans Am. Mods listed below:

Ls6 Intake manifold
XS Stainless LT's
TSP True Duals
Harris Speed 150 wet shot
4.10's (10 bolt with a girdle ONLY)
26x11.5x16 MT et street 2 ply

Car went:

60' 1.703
330' 5.040
1/8 7.867
mph 85.90
1000' 10.319
1/4 12.371
mph 109.59

Bottle pressure fell from 1100 psi to under 600psi on that run (got almost 8 full runs on a 10lb bottle, this was my very last run) so 3rd and 4th didnt have any bottle really. It has 11's in it, but not this year it wont see it.

Ill post video here as soon as youtube ok's it.

DA really sucks. I don't know if that's a good or bad run? Calculator says that a 11.3@119 pass in 0' DA. What are you running on motor?

What did the runs with 1100psi look like? Nice smoke show in 4th gear there. Was that something on the track or your car?

That one was at about 1200psi out of the hole, but dropped FAST to 600ish as I checked it in the pits.

That was actually dust on the track, an Outlaw car RIGHT before me almost went into the wall and got a little dust on the track.

Thanks bro! It was great that you could come out with us. I was nervous because the only reason they wanted to run "time only" cars was to "clear the dust off the track".

Did you by chance get any of the videos up?

That's a decent run for that altitude, our air here is about the same [or worse sometimes!] and I ran a 12.66 this weekend with my mods listed but I only ran 14.30's on motor only. With the sticky tires it would bog and only get a 2.16 60ft.

Yours definatly has more in it, you should be real close to the 11's with a good run w/ a full bottle. Get to some real good air and you might be fast enough to have to put a rollbar in it!

Thanks guys! Yeah it has more in it, I think Im done for the season tho.Altitude is not fun at all, nothing like losing almost 30% of your whp. You get that 60' down and youll see low 12s no problem.

pyschopjv - these runs were done down in Pueblo. Bandi is a lot nicer I hear, but with a 1.7 60' I cant really complain. 12's out of a cobalt is very respectable. Is it one of the s/c or t/c'd ones? Ill also Pm you a better pic, thanks for doing that for me
