First pass in my LT1 ever. It was tough with an m6 and since I've never had DRs before. I would bog or spin out of the hole. Still my little LT1 defended its self. I had hoped for better since I feel she has more in her. My 60 was 2.1. so maybe a low 12 with the right hook.

My next trip will be with my Formula with the DRs, LTs and tune should go 12.99 since it did 13.2 with NO tune, LTs and DRs.

 

It's all about riding the clutch.

Congrats. I'd have to say replace the 7.6" weaklink as opposed to riding the clutch.

 

nice pass. more seat time and a good 60ft. thats a low 12s / high 11s.

 

It was the first Pass on that car. I really set the car up for Road racing. I felt the TQ on the LT1 is best on a Road car. Not planning on any records with it. Yeah more seat time would get me closer to low 12s. My goal on my Formula is for 1/4 mile. I thought she did very well for what it had. I think a 12.99 is doable with DRs, tune and LTs added since my last pass of 13.2 with 2.2 60ft on Street tires.

 

if you arnt running low 12`s with that modded ls1,then there is something wrong.
maybe you need a stall

 

If I wasn't running high 11s with that setup I'd quit modding. In my sig I said waiting....all I had is catback, lid, MAS when I did 13.2. I added LTs, DRs and a tune. All the other parts I list I've gathered for a complete rebuild. I want to do it all at once.
