What tires are on your car?

 

Some worn out 275/40/17 BF Goodrich G-Force T/A Drag Radials. Launching at 2800.

 

you need to launch higher, I bet the car bogs pretty bad at that low of a rpm launch. You have the tire so don't be afraid to do a few 4K+ launches, just don't do a straight dump from the clutch and your rear will be fine.

 

Actually I tried at 3k and spun off the line, I really need new tires. My clutches are burnt out in the rear so I spin much easier than most though. I knew a guy that busted his rear end out launching at 2200 on nitto 555r's... I just don't have a lot of faith in the mighty 10 bolt.
